Dresden
I was invited to Dresden by Susanne who lives there. She said it was beautiful and so it proved to be. I visited in November 2005.
I met Susanne through a long and implausible set of coincidences during via our visits to Bardou in 2004 and 2005.
Famous landmarks include the Frauenkirche (recently restored), and the Elbe river on whose banks stands much fine architecture, including a personal favourite: the Semperoper (left).
