Technical Details
My philosophy is that technical excellence is a crucial support to good photography, and therefore all my images are prepared to the largest size I can achieve. I use both sensor based and truly digital cameras.
Prints are generally 20" by 16", on gloss photographic paper, or block mounted and gloss sealed. They have an impact rather in excess of A3+ inkjet printers. Some of my installations have several such prints montaged for effect.
The photos you see on these pages are significantly
down sampled copies of the original photographs. The typical size of the
images you see here is 600 by 400 pixels or less and therefore in
viewing these please try to accommodate the resulting loss of quality
required to get these on the web.
If you want to see the originals they can most
conveniently be seen at periodic exhibitions that take place. Private
views can sometime be arranged by special arrangement.
